February 23, 2023 – Bob Beckwith & MaryCatherine Coyle attended the Career Rodeo at the Richmond Raceway Complex on behalf of AFSA VA Chapter.

The Department of Workforce and Career Development hosted this event which offered Advanced Career Education Center students the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of various potential employers. The AFSA VA Chapter members are busy surveying the fire sprinkler system at the Regency Mall for Henrico County School system Career and Technical Education program.

This community service project involves Chapter members working together with students from the CTE program’s CAD and tradesman program. The Chapter’s volunteers will be providing design labor, permits, materials, and installation labor for this project. On February 9, 2023 – two of our committee board members (Jeff Lewis with VSC & Bob Beckwith with Cavalier Fire) attended Henrico Education Foundation’s 3rd annual Excellence in Education Dinner.
