All participated in Henrico County Public School’s CTE Life Ready Expo. The turn out was amazing at over a 4000 students and their parents. We were able to discuss career opportunities with middle school students up to current HS seniors. Many thanks to the members of the School Board that stopped by our tables and said hello. It was good to meet your kids.
One of the highlights of the event was a visit by Governor Glenn Youngkin and Secretary of Labor Brian Slater. I was able to spend a little bit of time with each talking about the progress we are making in youth apprenticeship, the fire sprinkler lab at Virginia Randolph and the home fire sprinkler project. What a privilege and honor to meet these two gentlemen.
