‘When we build, let us think that we build forever. Let it not be for present delight, nor for present use alone.’ I think Mac Beaton was channeling this centuries old mindset when he started dreaming up the Career Centers in Henrico County and all that he has built. The American Fire Sprinkler Association Virginia Chapter has partnered with Henrico County on some inspiring future career efforts, and truly changing the education system. I was blown away to see the many hands on labs they have spanning industries like culinary, cosmetology, masonry and most recently Life Safety.
